The book

Every part that is playing at a given moment sits stacked on the same system, so you can see what all of us are doing at once instead of flipping between separate parts. Parts drop in and out as they enter and leave the song, which keeps you from staring at six empty staves through a clean section.

Each song gets a title page with art from the record and its tuning printed under the name. We had the whole thing typeset properly instead of exporting pages out of Guitar Pro.

About these transcriptions

This book is the document we wrote the EP out of, and it is our best effort at the songs as they stood the day we walked into the studio. A few parts shifted while we were tracking because somebody made a call in the room and it was better. Bass, the nylon parts, and anywhere a player took a liberty are the usual places that happened.

There are no drums in here. The drum tracks sitting in the Guitar Pro and MIDI files are placeholders from writing sessions and have nothing to do with what Josh actually played.
